The Bogadha & Chelama Railway Tunnel Works form a critical component of the Guntur–Guntakal Doubling Line Project, aimed at improving rail capacity and operational efficiency across Andhra Pradesh.
 Varks is executing complex tunnel construction and approach works through challenging terrain, reinforcing its capability in large-scale transport infrastructure development.

Scope of Work

Construction of:

  • Bogadha Tunnel (T-1): From Km 219.000 to Km 223.800 (1.60 km tunnel length + 3.20 km tunnel approaches)
  • Chelama Tunnel (T-2): From Km 232.300 to Km 233.600 (0.34 km tunnel length + 0.96 km tunnel approaches)
  • Allied Works: Formation and structural works supporting the doubling line corridor
