The Thangarbalu Small Hydro Project is a run-of-the-river initiative harnessing the flow of the Krishna River to produce clean energy.
 Varks executed key civil works critical to the project’s operation, ensuring seamless water diversion and intake mechanisms essential for steady hydro generation.

Scope of Work

Execution of:

  • Construction of the Diversion Structure across the Krishna River
  • Execution of Power Canal Works for controlled water flow
  • Integrated structural elements to maintain hydraulic efficiency and safety
  • Site development and civil optimization for 24.75 MW power generation capacity

Outcome
